Hotel Savoy is located in the center of Opatija, right by the sea and the famous 12 km long promenade Lungomare. The hotel is first mentioned as far as 1910. when Opatija was a favorite tourist destination of the Austro-Hungarian and Italian aristocracy. Even then it was luxurious, and had hot and cold water, telephone, lift and heating.
After the World War II it was operating under the name of Dubrovnik and was listed among the protected monuments. Initiated by the new owners, family Brko hotel was completely renovated and reopend in July 2004. with its historical name and former glory. Today, Savoy is a luxury 4 star hotel open year round.
The hotel has a meeting room, swimming pool, wellness, restaurant, cocktail bar with terrace, meeting room, hairdresser and a private parking lot. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel a small entertainment and catering center is located (coffee bars, travel agency, confectionery, jewelry store, casino, disco). Directly below the hotel is a hotel beach with a grill restaurant and a cocktail bar.
