The wealth of Istrian culture and the beauty of its heritage can be seen across the width and breadth of this magic peninsula, but perhaps mostly in Rovinj. The panorama of Rovinj, together with the church of St Euphemia and its bell tower in the centre, is one of the most striking symbols of Istria.
For many years Rovinj has been an inspiration for many artists – lovely horizons, well preserved old town houses and small, narrow and most off all, picturesque streets in the old city core.
